    No, that would be a separate box mounted on the fenderwell. Typically MSD branded.

    HIE's are pretty simple. You just need to supply power to it that's on during the cranking and running phases of the ignition switch. The same wire that originally powered the points works fine.

    Optionally there is a tach output signal you can use to power a tach, but it doesn't need to be hooked up.

    Thanks!

    I’d imagine the red wire (BAT) goes to the switched power source, and the green (TACH) goes to the tachometer…and the harness from the bottom of the distributor only goes in one way: D2E1B6BB-42CA-4B75-9D56-720D5872B5F7.jpeg
