Started work on my M416

    The ammo can works really well for tarp storage and some tools. I also keep one of those folding lug nut wrenches in there too.

    Added Yakima bars and mounts. Now I can use my bike racks and kayak racks on the trailer too.

    Picked up some "J-cradles" today and mounted them up to the trailer. Lifting the kayaks onto the trailer is much better than lifting them on top of the XJ. Still leaves plenty of room for a pair of bikes and access to the stuff in the trailer. Can't wait to load this thing up and go camping.

    Not exactly what the military had in mind for the M416, but it works well as a kayak carrier none the less.

    Very nice. My roommate in Iraq is a frequent poster on Lost KJ's and showed me your pics on that site. Nice to see you here. JEEP looks good as well!!

    Got any Part #'s for the Yakima mounts... got our Kayaks as a wedding present and need a way to mount them up now.
