Anyone ever use general spring to replace their stock springs?

My rear springs are stock 6 leaf springs with the grooves, and the left one is worn out pretty bad. I was thinking about replacing just the rear with some stock height springs. I'm not looking for a comfortable ride or a lot of flex, as I'd like to occasionally haul 500-600 lbs, so I'm looking at getting some pretty heavy ones.

Any thoughts? Anyone have good experience with a non lifted spring that they would recommend?

If you search "spring" you can read parts of most every thread that pops up for feedback.

Suspension threads are becoming the new "which tire?" threads. The "which tire?" threads were the new "what's the best oil?" threads.
