    Mike,
That looks awesome ... I need to do that. Does the Summit come with those 4 outlets and damper mechanism or did you mod that?

Love the look of your engine bay as well. And the pinup on the wall in the back too.

Question for you guys running the summit heater did you block off the fresh air intake? No problems with fumes coming back in?

    Mike,
My heater, which I believe is the same as yours, only came with one outlet (2 tubes) which is the standard package. What steps did you take to make that additional outlet? I believe the air intake (for this heater) is from the side of the blower so it will always suction from the inside of the Jeep (correct me if wrong).

The Summit unit just pulls air from inside. My stock heater is still completely intact and functional as well, with the outside air intake.

my new heater is on the way and i really like the idea of leaving the stock one where it is as well.
the outside air will be nice in the summer.

    p.s.
i am never taking the hard top off again.
last time i did it rained for a month.
i got tired of having it covered with a tarp.
the floorboards and toolbox being filled with water constantly was no picnic either.
and forget about leaving anything in the vehicle
because it's just a free box with wheels to crooks.

I need to look into this. I wont be using it much, and it never really gets that cold here anyway, but that will be nice to pull the chill out. I could probably get away with something cheaper too, for as little as I use it. My heater box is allready out from before I bought it. Now its in my attic.

I drove my ZR2 Blazer the last 2 days and I'm looking forward to getting back in the Jeep, because it warms up far, far faster, and gets warmer inside than any of our other 3 vehicles. (15* this morning)

i drove it to work sat. morning
the heater was blasting hot air but it wasnt warm in the cab.
    got to work and realized
1 cold air vent open and of course the dash control is long gone.
2 2" holes at every pedal in floor
3 1" gap along bottom edge of both meyers 1/2 cab doors
4 1/4" gap along entire top of windshield edge

i just happened to have a couple of rolls of foam weather stripping tape stuff and a roll of white duct tape.
so i started a tapin and a sealin
now lets try this drive again......
