IHC product, Scout I presume. I'd guess you could have bought the IH-marked hubs new over the IHC parts counter and put them on your Jeep, but I don't see why anyone would have done that. Near certain these were delivered (or dealer installed) with a Scout and salvaged for use on a Jeep.

I'm pretty sure no Warn hubs were "factory", or actually installed on the Jeep factory assembly line. They were "Jeep approved equipment" that were installed on new Jeeps by dealers, at least through the AMC takeover. The "IH" lockout hubs were surely originally installed on International vehicles as Tim stated, and later swapped to the Jeep. I did this myself back in the 1970's. Mechanically, they are the same part as was installed on Jeeps.

The wiper motors were parts I collected several years ago for my project. This gasket is taped to one of two windshield wiper motor boxes. Doesn’t seem to go with the wiper motor. And why only one? I don’t remember taping it there.

Hard to tell size, but is it a gas filler grommet?

What did you do? Moved the tank to the rear? I want to do that with my 62 CJ5. Is it worth it?

I did relocate to the rear. I used a tank and skid plate from a '79 CJ. Was pretty easy to do with the tub off the frame. Tip I read from another build - Weld the nuts to the frame and it makes it very easy to remove and reinstall.

Is it worth it? Only you can decide if it's worth it to you. :)

Thos parts are available new, IIRC. Either plastic or steel. You'll want a new tank.

Some are taking them out from under the seat, others putting them in. Who is right? He who carries the most fuel, of course.

Which one of the old Chevy or Ford was it that had the gas tank in front of the windshield? That one didn't last too very long.

Model A Ford (1928-31) and a few of the late Model T (1926-27). No need for any fuel pump.

Worked great until you were going up a steep hill, then you had to go up backwards :)

Actually, the cowl tank cured that issue.

It was the prior under-seat tank that gave rise to backing up a hill if the gas tank was less than full. Not a big deal, I've done it more than once. :D

I made a fiberglass fuel tank that when behind the bench seat on a Gladiator pick up truck. We never thought it was unsafe. Last I heard many years ago it was in Mexico with the tank still intact...
