Getting ready to install the Koenig PTO I bought and am trying to understand a few things before I start. When I remove the cover on the transfer case, should I be expecting lots of oil to come out, like when pulling a differential cover! I am aware of being careful not to drop one of the hex bolts or washers. I was thinking of using a little grease in the head to keep it on the driver. After installing it, do I add fluid to the transfer case or where?

Should not be much if any oil coming out, the fill level is below the opening.

You'll only need to add oil to the PTO, little if any migration between the PTO & transfer case.

Oops. Meant Allen. That's why the little bit of grease to hold the 'allen' onto the 'hex' bit.
