Will Late 70's Cj-5 Roll Bar Fit 1964 Cj-5?

    Another comment - hope it does not seem like I'm piling on! :)

    I believe you are supposed to put the side bolts in first using the spacers supplied with the bar. this will determine the location for the holes through the wheel houses. Pretty sure you can get around this by measuring the distance between the body side and the roll bar and making spacers of that distance. I'd think you can use some 1/2" black iron pipe to make the spacers and it would be fine. There are typically washers on the outside too. The drawing looks wrong to me - the bolt heads should be on the outside and the nuts on the inside.
