OK, well the 04 WJ I bought that has been a royal PITA has stuck again.. After the new engine debacle that cost me $6,000, all the maintenance parts I normally do with a used vehicle (plugs, new brakes, tires, shocks, belts fluids all the way through etc.. ) A new Radiator two weeks ago ($400) due to a crack in the tank and now, now, $1100 more to fix the brakes..

Granted, this is my fault.. I was bleeding through the old fluid during the maintenance routine and dumbass me walked away with the bleeder open and got air in the system that I could not get out.. Well somehow in trying to get the air out I managed to destroy the internals of the MC, not sure how but I was blasting it pretty hard to get the ABS pump to cycle.. Grrrrr.. over $600 for a new MC.. I am not in town and mama took it to the dealer at my request.. No idea it would cost that much.. They are also turning rotors and some other small things.. But a $600 MC!!!

Man, that's gotta hurt. I know where you are but could you try calling the dealer ? May get some money knocked down or at least let them know how you feel. Good luck.

With my luck if I ask for a discount, I will get the "sure, that will be $750 for the part sir.. " haha

I just hope that solves the issues I was having.. Right now I have about $17K in a $7K Jeep..
