OK, did as good as I could do~ had a misshap along the way, my breathing hose rubbed across a freshly painted spot:cry:, I was able to sand it out and repaint it, it's not terribly noticeable and one run. There's a little more orange-peel than I like, but I have a bunch of Trizact sanders and may or may not remove the peel.
I started earlier than 4:00, I was excited to "finish", but I have to rave about the rotisserie~ OMG. It's worth taking a week off from a project just to make one~ ;)
As for the black, I had bought some decal material, but I just don't know how I'd make what is shown here in decal material. This is paint, not decal.

guess I'll have to buy new V-6 emblems~ mine are rather dingy, but I guess I could try to rejevunate them.

I know it may be too plush for you guys, but I'm going to put carpet, sound deadner in the front, maybe some sort of heavy rubber in the pay load area. and I would like a back seat for the grand kids!!!

Gary's bugging me for my help~ be back!!

Brad, just bring your jeep here and I'll make it look good! :bananatool:

Forgive me guys, but I'm just enjoying the moment~ sometimes even if we don't do a professional job, we can indeed say we did it ourselves and take pleasure in that :flag:, and I know where every blemish, mess-up, and I did it all by myself and take credit for those mistakes, cause it makes me an earthling/human.

Funny enough, the paint kind of smoothed out since I've finished the paint~ I'm not touching it!

Notice the reflection in the left quarter panel? It's my TR6, but it looks orangish, but it's British racing green

Rob's jeep is still here, like I've got more room for another machine.

Well, I may take a day off , or not:whistle: from the jeep~ if I finish it too quickly I won't have anything to do :(

Nothing but fun at the moment! :bananatool:

I cannot find the emblems that go here! I'd just soon buy new ones anyways, but I had one of these left over~ kind of matches the color, no? just a thought
    [IMG]

A package came in just today from Kaiserwillys~ my lights!! I was going to go with the LED, but the more factory just look so fine!!

I know it's kind of messy right now, just test fitting stuff~ 160 bucks for that fan shroud  it sorta fits.

The headlights I ordered haven't made it, but the front turn signals look nice;)

Prettiest headlight buckets on the planet!:D

Enough for the day, need to play with the dogs :D

    A couple of comments:

    That Dauntless sticker is perfect!
That's the exact same shroud I bought and installed on my Jeepster. I'm pretty sure that's the same price I paid, but it does seem to work well.
And I hope you know.....That Jeep has never looked that good in its entire life! Way better than new!!:bow::bow:

Fireball, dear, I'm having a difficult time finding the windshield frame:( there are never any used frames on CL, or Ebay. Perhaps, I may have to buy and "new" frame even though they aren't perfect(so I've heard/read). ideas?

I have a taller windshield with bottom mount wipers but thinking about using it on mine . I’ll give it some thought, if I decide not to use it I’ll let you know.

I would definitely put up an ad here. Windshields up to '75 will work.

I have the same shroud and it fit OK on a Champion aluminum radiator. I did trim it to clear the alternator pulley. It works well. You can hear the difference with so much more air moving.
