Around here, the BFGs are nearly useless. There's areas that never dry out. I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea, but the tall skinny Swampers worked great for a long time on my IH one ton. I rotated them each oil change and I got a lot of miles out of them. Here's hoping that I can get good service from these.

Can't wait to see how the Swampers look installed! I'd also be interested to hear how well it tows your camper with the new tires.

I will be curious myself. The BFGs are very shy 33s and the Swampers are pretty large 34s so I am sure a bit of oomph will be lost. I am going to keep the BFGs on my other wheels and use them for longer trips. They're good enough for the road.

Going to send the rims to shot blast and powdercoat white for 15 bucks each. Removing the flares and filling the holes. Make it look as old as it is again.

I had 6 on my 1 ton IH years ago. They were a little loud but not as awful as you'd think. I had bias buckshot mudders on a Cj. They were insane. They howled!

I would love to see a few more pictures from further back when you get the tires mounted. The ones you posted are making me wish I didn't go so wide on my 6. I really like the no flares look.

Is this how the professional bodymen paint? Trying not to stink up the garage. Preheat in garage, pull outside where heaters were waiting on each side, spray 3 coats. Call it good. No bugs! Dried well.
