Timing Cover Mod

    Vent connection for the front axle? Not like I've ever seen that done, but in theory it could work.

    The invert flare fitting is OEM on F-heads. The metal tube may be a mod.

    Sends oil from the filter into the timing gears. A precise orifice maintains oil gallery back-pressure.

    Just so you know, that was an oil line from the factory. Like Pete says, It went from the oil filter return into the timing cover to oil the fiber timing gear, may want to make it original, that may control your oil pressure, the original line was pretty small. I would check it out to be sure, Good Luck
