Good work! I'm thinking about getting some sort of led halo around my bulbs but within the housing. Maybe even led bulbs.

My old roommate converted his 57 bel air to all LED and it's impressive. (He didn't go cheap)

I'd be interested in that project too! If you do it, Please share :) I'd love to find a solution for LED taillights but would like to keep the vintage design too.

I'll see if I can get more details...
the headlights are from Dapper Lighting online, the rest were all superbrightleds.com
He has some sort of deal that makes the front signals double as fog lights. (I'll fix video orientation)

    Stills:

Then the rear has bulbs in stock housing.

And his wife did this video: (I don't know why she covered over the ls exhaust solo, it's better now with a Truck Norris cam)

Just maintenance. Bypassed the leaking heater core, adjusted the clutch, greased the steering and pedal pivots, checked the oil levels in tranny, t-case & differentials, and took it for a test drive.

But ironically, after the trip to the flaps, we went to Harbor Freight and bought this!

With all I'm trying to do to get ready for Bantam, the FOO bird keeps flying over my parade. ..... I did get the radiator installed and plumbed. but it took 3.5 hours. :banghead: there are reasons but they are boring.

But while shuffling around things in the garage I noticed one of my Jerry cans was weeping.

This is the can that bulged the bottom out in the desert, last trip, 10% alcohol gasoline, in direct sunlight at 95 deg. The cans usually make a small banging noise during expanding and contracting, but this was a Big Bang. I didn't think it leaking, but I guess I was wrong.

And of course there is the ever present rust

Just keep moving, if you stop, you'll rot thru the floor. :censored:

Any jack stand of that design needs a locking pin to insure safety. Horror Fright did a recall several years ago and the NAPA stands are the same.
The replacement stand is more money. That said, I have a set still but use a backup as in a second stand. I am usually in the garage alone and the
thought of my jeep sitting on me and not me on it, is not a good picture. Looking at getting the Torin or some other brand. I have had the
aluminium version of that jack for several years. Low profile and no problems. Not very light as you would think. Someday, I will get around
to rebuilding my old Sears 1-1/2 ton floor jack.

I am still trying to figure out the heater vent pipe on your engine. I have seen it a couple of times but not connected. Fresh air to the air cleaner?
Please post a picture when you get it connected.

Mounted the Scout steering box on the Willys pickup. Getting it ready for a trip to the local college this summer where the body work will (hopefully) get done.
