Almost back on the road

    After being off the road for 2 years, Lil Blue is almost ready for pavement. What started as a tub off body rebuild summer project turned into a second year with a FI 4.3 install.
    Goal was to get it back on the road at the end of summer and it looks like I'll make it.
    Still needs paint but I'm getting everything else done and soon I'll head down the road for exhaust and then inspection.

    What color is that? Looks very nice!

    *edit* I did read it needs paint, but sheesh, that looks nice from here.

    Yeah, just that red oxide primer color now. I'm going for either the dark teal color it was or marlin blue.

    Looks great John!! Just don't take that ding out of the passenger side fender... it's famous worldwide now!! ;) :D

    I had to replace them. Rot was living the vida loca under all seams and even on flat metal. Hated to do it. The Omix replacements are sad replacements in my opinion.
    Ahh, its good to be back. I really miss the Early 5.
