Other than some little things, the goal is done. I will be posting updates and lists of parts and Items on my web page over the next week. Put the coveralls in the wash sink and filled it with water and soap, so by the rules of the shop the major work is done.

    Quick summary of the project:
    SM465
    Swinging Pedals
    Hydraulic Clutch
Front Axle swap to D30, 4.88s, OX Lockers, Disc
Rear Axle swap to D44 4.88s, OX Lockers, 11" Drums, Warn Full Floater
Going to 33X10.5X15s - Traded a guy some steering parts for the 4 below to see how I like it.

This resulted in moving the engine (PO) put the mounts in 1/2" off and I had not caught it yet. Moved Radiator - New Radiator.

    Just gnats and fleas left.

Very nice Chuck! Glad to hear you're done! Ive seen it in person, and it IS a very nice looking Jeep! I hope to one day be following it on some trails and enjoying the Kenne Bell exhaust fumes. If I ever get mine done.....

    Sledgehammer Sure, I'll try it

It all looks good but I'm really digging those super trap exhaust tips. I haven't seen any of those around in a while. 8)

I like it - done but not overdone. Capable trail rig that you could park at a Willys Reunion and not look out of place -- pretty much what I'm going for in CJ6 form...

hey Chuck, you did a great job on your flattie. i really like the profile of the jeep. just curious what where you got the axles out of. i was thinking of a similer deal for my 53. do you think you could get a front and back pic for me? i'd really like to see it from those angles. thanks ******* :)

I had to take another peek before bed. Looks so gosh darn good.

Works for me - thanks guys. The 'resto mod' is what I try to do - look close to original, but update what's inside. I'll get some more - better - pics once I get my mom's 34' motor home out from in front of the shop. I had to quickly fix her 7K generator before she heads back to Riley KS for my nephew's wedding. I get to go out of town for work instead of wheeling with Clint and the gang at the res.
