Very nice !!! I can't wait to see some pic's of it in action!

I've never made a trailer axle before . . . do you have any photo's of putting it together?

    Happy New Year!

bkap Gone, but not long gone.

    Nice work. :tea:

The fenders might make all your other stuff — in the trailer and the Jeep — more happy. :)

Here's the last few shots for awhile. They're just 2 shots of the trailer hooked up to Posi. Sure wish I could take it out somewhere, but we've got a fair amount of snow and have a big storm coming in later this week. In the early Spring I should be able to take it out to Carson City and do some desert cruising with it. Maybe I can set up some articulation shot with a couple of ramps. I'd like to be able to show the hitch in action.

Finally got some time to work on the fenders. I was going to have a local sheetmetal guy bend me up some fenders, but I decided to try to make some sort of tube fender. I laid out the basic shape yesterday and I hope to get some fabrication done today. I discovered I can make a pretty nice bend in 1/2" iron pipe with my cheapo HF pipe bender.

I got to take the trailer (babymoto) out to Prison Hill today for a shakedown cruise. I'm very happy! At the link below I have about 6 pics and 4 or 5 video clips. I probably won't post any more here until I finish the fenders. Enjoy! We had a great time wheeling.

Fenders are done. That only took about 5 months longer than I thought. That's it for now. I'm going to put this project to bed. It was fun and I learned a lot. May have even improved my welding from ugly booger welder to semi ugly booger welder. I plan on dragging it through the Rubicon on our ECJ5 trip this summer.
