    Yes.

    It looks crazy but reading through the Design Angles catalog I basically made my own correct phased double U-Joint for a lot less $.

    I bought exactly the same shock absorbers and the 2 for the front wheels broke at the lower welding.... The gave us a new one in exchange but we can repair them by welding (correctly).

    Where did you mount the box? I'm looking at mounting mine in the passenger side of the engine bay, above the alternator-ish.

    Same here. Several coats. Used a toothpick to get in tight spaces. Not sure about clear yet.

    Well some of you have really inspired me to pull the motor so I can clean it and the engine bay for paint. The only motors I've ever pulled were my VW '64 bug and '67 Bus...I'd already have them out by the time I posted this. This will be a new experience for me...I'm glad I have you guys.

    The stupid passenger fender gave me trouble during removal. One bolt holding the battery tray support bracket had to be destroyed with an air chisel...PITA! :mad:

    I kinda like this look...I wonder if I can drive like this? :sneak:

    More removal of things today...What's the trick to removing the bell housing bolts? Is it better/easier to undo the clutch linkage then unbolt the bell housing from the tranny?

    I could have really used you guys to tell me this...There's a removable panel?!

    I just figured this out after a lot of head scratching, trying to figure out how to get to a couple of the bolts! :D

    Some quick helpful tips to first time engine pullers like myself:
    • Remove the firewall panel to get to the bell housing bolts easier...Duh!
    • Pull the starter.
    • Once the motor is loose...Pull out the motor mounts.
