Okay everyone I need advice. After getting the parts we discovered that the slave cylinder does not clear the headers:cry: (stupid thing to overlook)Its not quite close enough to where I could just beat the header a little to make it clear the slave. Anyone run into this problem before? How should I go about trying to fit this hydraulic system?

I had this same issue, if you look at the bellhousing there is another bolt hole above the correct ones, use this as the upper point and the next one down for second bolt then you need to make up a plate with a dimple in it to attach to the clutch fork to lift the pushrod up by the same amount. I've used this setup for years with no issues.

On a separate note I managed to fix my setup, it was just an issue with excessive play at the pedal that meant full travel of the master wasnt being achieved.

Good idea. I’ll see if my exhaust will clear that

Some old pics before I changed the gearbox but it's still the same.

RATTYFLATTY I think you need a little more throttle

With exhaust clearance issues I have used these in the past by making a mount off the t-case. I'm currently running a stock hyd setup off a early 80's 4cyl CJ on a 225/T18/20. I did add length to the stock Buick clutch fork to get the slave to line up.

Yep, bracket looks almost the same as the ones I made over 15 years ago. Thanks for the pics.

I know this is a bit of an older thread but how did everyone mount the master cylinder rod to the pedal? Im having a bit of trouble figuring out how it should go
