I am new to the Jeep world. I just bought a 1947 CJ2a. I have the L134 go devil motor and a D18. I am looking for a transmission(t98 preferred) and bell housing. Let me know if anyone is selling one!

If you haven't yet, place a WTB post in the classified section. You would likely get more exposure on this site putting it in the early CJ 5 section.

The bell housing should be easy to come by, if you post in the wanted area.

Suggest you contact Herm - he may be able to set you up with a T-98. You'll need a plate adapter between the bell and transmission, and an adapter for the transfer case, plus the Jeep T-98. The floor panels are specific to the 4-speed as well, plus other bits like mounts, speedo cable and driveshaft.
www.hermtheoverdriveguy.com - suggest you call, not email. Won't be cheap - these transmissions that are not part of a complete Jeep are not plentiful. He also sells T-90s.

I would caution that the Binder stuff is ... strange. It's not going to bolt up to a Jeep engine.

T90's are common as dirt...I imagine most of the members on here have 1 or 2 laying around.
    T98's are hen's teeth.

yep. I probably have a dozen T90's in the shop. But they are not worth shipping.

A T90c would be the best bet.
