The paint I used is PRISM Acrylic BASIC 24 color from Wal-Mart. To start, I cut the end off a popsicle stick (straight across) with sissors. This will aid in removal of excess paint. Placing the Black into the Tux lettering can be done quickly because you dont have to be real careful. Let paint set up 5-10 mins then take stick and run over top removing excess paint. It wont stick easilly to crome so makes clean removal of what you want to remove. Make sure your stick rides over top of plate leaving the paint down in the grooves. For the V6 badge, I used the gold is and the white as is but the red was mixed 3parts red and 1part orange. Looked a near perfect original match. Apply the same removal method as above. Worked for me.

 

i need to redo my tux badges, the previous owner painted over them when he painted the jeep. i think he used a brush and house paint
