We cut down about 10 willow tress and I put the hitch I made for the '69 to work dragging logs out of the ditch (Old Red Maintenance Thread) .

It worked great and seems super solid:

Went for a drive through the (currently dry) creek after pulling the logs out:

Took a couple poser shots of the semi finished product! Still need wheels, tires, and a tire carrier. Plus a diff rebuild. I figure it’s only about half flexed out

    Thank you!

  18. Haven’t had much time lately to do work on the poor girl, but I was at least able to polish her up over the weekend. I got a new detailing compound that I wanted to try out, so the Jeep became the guinea pig. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with how much shine is still left in that old paint!

    What compound did you use?

  20. Mothers clay bar and detailer compound (comes in a kit), followed by a decent wax and a lot of buffing.
