Yesterday’s Cruising with the oldies Car Show in Senoia Georgia, where they film the Walking Dead was a wonderful time . We met some great people and saw a wide variety of cars and trucks. Our family’s first time taking the Jeepster to a car show really was a great experience. We even had the Falcon Army Squadron air team do a Flyover to “ God Bless America”.
We were parked next to a 32 roadster, Factory 5 Cobra and 55 Chevy Gasser and people would spend more time looking over the Jeepster, a few even called it a Bronco even though it said Jeep on the Windshield card -lol

You can fit 3 Cj5 jeeps in a 40' foot shipping container with room to spare. I imagine 4 may be possible.

Leaving the grocery store while on my test drive. Replaced the wheel cylinders on the 10 inch brakes until its time to do 11 inch/disc swap.

Since I have the '66 above me, here's the '68 on Monday while on a roadtrip with the Fiance. I'm glad the venting w/s already needs work, passenger side glass got a new crack top to bottom while in tow.

Four years ago to this day I bought my first CJ5. I had some money burning a hole in my pocket after flipping a TJ and making a good amount of profit on it. This had been for sale over on the Peninsula in WA state for some time, I brought cash and a trailer. After looking at it I knew its what I wanted. I had no idea that the 4spd was some what of a rare option. It did need some work but for $3400 I couldnt pass it up. the fly wheel ring gear was all chewed up so I pulled the transmission to install a new fly wheel. At that point I installed a new clutch, resealed the transfer case, resealed the transmission, re sealed the engine, had the original carburetor rebuilt, had the seats re done, and installed an OD unit (5.38 gears are no fun on the freeway), got the heater working, some other small things. Other then then that its been a solid jeep with no major issues. it has not spent a night out side since I got it.
Not to long ago I also scored a venting windshield that needs a little bit of work, just havnt got around to it yet with the 2A project, and house projects
