    jpflat2a what's that noise?

My dad is having his 50 Jeepster re-done from a previous re-do back in the 80's.
Color change, new wiring, re-chrome of everything, new interior and seats, new top, tires, everything but mechanicals as they had been reworked years earlier.
The interior, seats and new top will be tan.
    It was previously maroon/black combination.
Anyways, first photos after paint and it's starting to go back together.

Nice. Don't have an extra hood spear laying around do you? I have one on my truck but would like a better one.

    What color yellow is that?

Gettingcloser. Not my choice of color combinations, but it's dads Jeepster.

Never seen one with a canvas top on it. Not sure I like the style.

The call came in that the Jeepster is finished.
Sometime towards the end of next week it should be home.

The '61 Scout is next....stay tuned.

Nice! Any pics of the finished job? I like the look of the old Jeepsters, but somehow 2wd has just never seemed right on them to me.

Pics of the Scout too please!
My first car was a 63 Scout so I have a soft spot in my heart (or head!) for them....

    Okay.

Would be great to see. My first car was a 1971 Scout 800B. I sure wish I had it now.

Beautiful car/truck. I've always liked those. Just recently noticed the wheelbase is almost the same as my CJ6 frame. Hmmm....
