1557094050689861997402.jpg How were the aluminum parts treated? Nekkid aluminum? Mine is getting chalky and I dont like it. I'll either do clear, aluminum paint with clear (looks the same), or black. Surely not engine color, right?

Part # Master Cyl.JPG Chilly, as far as I remember they all were ' Mill ' aluminum. Oxidized somethin' fierce, just like the alternators  I think that the same Black as your pump & pulley would look pretty smart. All the bolt on's,including your master Cyl , would stand out against the engine color. Cool & neat , all in one. Just my 2 pennies though ? BTW, your build is look'n Good !

    Hydroboost! Those work great.
Chilly, Aluminum or silver rattle can would be the best compromise if it were me. At least the aluminum would be protected, yet still look close to stock.

The aluminum boat crowd uses a product called " sharkhide" that is very durable and keeps the surface looking like new. I coat anything aluminum with it like small parts or castings etc. It costs about $85.00 a quart so if you don't have a boat to cover you may want to borrow a 1/2 cup from a friend. It is applied with a cotton towel and just wipes on and drys fast. mike

We sell Sharkhide at my work...works great for fuel tanks and other shiny bits on big rigs!
Not sure how it would look on bare unpolished aluminum though.

Polished or smooth surface is great. Sand cast or ruff not so much.
