Wiring Harness

    I used a Painless kit. The fuse block looks like this:

    There's enough wire left over to wire up a second jeep.

    Extra wire is a great thing to have on hand. Or put it up for sale for someone who wants to repair their existing harness. Could offset the purchase cost of your harness kit some ... (y)

    That’s in my Jeep as well. Only a few weeks old but all good so far.

    I am also a very satisfied EZ Wire harness users. Like an early post, mine is the all black wire. When I bought the harness circa 2008, you had the option of all black wires (but they are labeled) or the colored wires and I thought all black was better suited to my A1 project.

    Where on the firewall did you mount it?

    Mine is mounted on the firewall slightly below the glove box, away from the factory heater and easy to get to with no steering column or anything near it. I use a magnetic light beside it if I need to see anything in the dark.

    Inside firewall, driver side. May be in the way of hanging pedal mod in future - poor planning by me.
