Your closeup photos do give a better idea of how it looks, which still ain't too bad overall. If you can get more equipment and make your own panels, or just get all of those replacement panels from Classic then I'd say don't be hesitant about going for it. It seems you have the time and patience, patience being the more important of the 2. Do you have a spot weld cutter?

I'm talking about a spot weld cutter, which is a tiny hole saw on a bit and made for cutting out spot welds. You can remove panels, etc. that way. Automotive paint stores should have them.

Buy a plasma cutter and go at it.

Well its been some time since I last posted, but I decided to repair what I have using about $800 of classic Ent panels. The part I still need, but may have to fab, is the trans tunnel sheet metal from bulkhead back. I’m not looking for donor tub that I can cut and paste this portion out of. If I dont find one I will fab that part. I might also find one just to use to make a template. I also need another of the bolt on trans covers. Can anyone help with find these? Not my pic, borrowed (thank) because it best shows the section I need.
