Hi everyone, as I wrote in my introduction, I am doing a "frame off" restoring on my '71 CJ5 that I want to keep as stock as possible....
Well ... after I sand blasted and rebuild every single part of this nice Jeep I am facing a few issues that for sure you guys can help me to sort it out...
I bought the full exhaust pipes and muffler but, although it should have been the right one for the '71 (rear tank model), it is instead the one for the underseat tank...
I tried then to find the right one but ...no way :banghead: .... no any jeep part seller has the rear-tank exhaust listed ! it looks like it doesn't exist ! Is it possible ???
So I modified the exhaust I bought, cutting the pipe before the first rear crossmember and fitting the muffler...but now the terminal bended pipe doesn't go in the right way ...
What should I do ? Any suggestion ??
    Thanks a lot ! :flag:

You might find per bent exhaust pipe with the correct bends to change the routing of the system. Amazon has some. Will need to know diameter of existing pipe

It's likely you'll need to go to a custom exhaust shop. It's not surprising that those parts are NLA (no longer available) from any aftermarket source. The '70-71 V6 CJ with a rear tank was both a short run and few built, so there will be little demand for these parts. I realize it's Italy, but you should ask around locally for the best custom exhaust shop, and go talk to them.

Thanks a lot Fino, I sent a msg to Waldron and they firstly replied they don't know the F134 CJ5 engine  ... after I cleared them about the F134 Hurricane engine, they got back to me and , yes they have the exhaust pipes and muffler but it is bloody expensive ....
I think I'll arrange something with the one I already have...
