Anyone Familiar With This Spare Tire Mount?

    This is on my recently purchased 1973 CJ 5. I have installed the tailgate since this pic. Anyone familiar with these? I can’t seem to find anything on the web. Thanks.

    Looks pretty solid. Seen similar designs with a big pivot like that, but not exactly like this. Local Jeepers with skills sometimes make bumpers, cages, sliders, tire mounts and such as a side business. Could be something like that, or home-built.

    x2 nothing was available like that from the factory or as a dealer installed option in 73 that I can remember either. looks good quality
