    Interesting to consider whether or not a one-wheeler needed a licence plate. Probably not but where is the line drawn for legal registration and definition of a "trailer?"

    Also, in NH, any load extension or projection more than 48" is required to have a red flag, or a red light at night. "But Officer, I'm from 1962..."

    On mine, BTW, the wheel pivot assembly also has a spring for suspension.

    Too long ago, but I recall a coil spring on either side of the wheel? The Sears ad looks like leaf springs that both act as suspension and center the wheel. Or maybe not sprung at all.
