Nice weather today. Took the side windows off the 71, packed the dogs and headed to Walmart for some supplies.

My dad's gorgeous 1966 before I blew the wheel cylinders out. Original paint with the 4 wheel drive stencil on the tailgate.

Is the color Candlelight Glow? Is the Trim Package code still under the hood on the Firewall....

I'll go take a peak in the garage today and let you know!

Edit: Sadly no. All that's left is the Willys by Kaiser Jeep plate and the VIN plate on the other side.

Maybe it’s laying in the battery tray.

Thank you. Has the 1966 style steel rims that came mostly on the v6 models. Size 5.5x15 with the Cutlas Deluxe full turbine hubcaps that came on the Tuxedo Park models from the factory, or could be bought separately. Available in 16” also.

Took the '71 to the post office to mail some bills. Stopped by the neighbor place on the way. Nice folks, but they need to do better maintenance.

I found this today. This was about 1979. The floor had rusted out and just been replaced along with a paint job, new tires and new Sears top. At that time this 73 had about 18,xxx miles.

The 64 Mercury behind the jeep was a 25th anniversary Marauder. It was a great car and was loaded for that day and time.
