That's a desirable part. The originals are often broken.

    '73-75 CJ-5 and CJ-6.

wouldn't the "early jeep restorations" forum be a better place for questions about "NOS/what year"??

    just asking.

Most of the items he's been showing are intermediate.

Thank's for the info, I'll look up part number & update inventory.

I figured it fit a CJ but didn't know which year, so put it here.

that isn't what i meant. not the forum for tech discussions about flatfenders, but rather the forum for discussions about NOS/restoration, like this one:
http://www.earlycj5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=23, which has a description of:
Early Jeep Restoration and Research (3 Viewing)
Forum Section for Restoration and Jeep Research for items not really "tech" related but of historical interest or merit. Information on decals, decal placement, original paint colors, what should be on the dash, tire and wheel sizes, etc. can be found here. Keep it stock here boys!

Could some one give me the dimensions to heater control panel pictured above? I'm in need of one and as stated by timgr a desirable part, ie not easy to find. With the dimensions I can make one and then all I have to do is find/make the labels.

If you don't get a reply by the weekend, I'll take the car cover off and get some measurements and pics. Feel free to remind me ...

Thanks, timgr I will take you on that offer if I do not have dimensions by this weekend. I am thinking about making up 15 to 20. I am sure their are others out there that would like to have one.

Are you going to make them out of steel or plastic?

Steel or aluminum not sure which but leaning towards steel. I will have to make bezel tags to label the control knobs. Only problem is the bezels will not be back lit. I will post a picture of the finished unit.
