I came across these when going through some old parts. I think I picked them up many years ago at a tag sale. I never ran them on anything. Anyone know what year/model jeep these wheel covers are from? jeep caps.jpg

Jeepster used these, maybe around '70 or '71, and i think CJ5 maybe around '71 or '72.
When I get home, I'll look at some of my brochures.

What size wheels are they for? And the hub center holes? Some of the FS Jeeps had 16’s I’d think with 8 lug Dana 44 fronts .... don’t know much about those jeeps so still guessing

CJ (models 80/90), 999734 (hub hole) and 999733. I'm sure they are for 15" wheels. No year range specified, but these numbers are transition-to-AMC era like '70-71. Likely quite valuable.

I don't think they are one of the valuable versions. I picked up a set off ebay about a year ago for $35 delivered. So far. they haven't proven to be valuable. They come up for sale frquently.
I tried to use mine as "trading, plus cash" material to someone with a set of Tux turbines on an '81 CJ5. They liked that they were embossed "Jeep", but I couldn't convince them. Apparently their dad put the turbines on back when the '81 was nearly new, so they wanted to keep their Jeep "original".

i just did an ebay search for "jeep hubcaps". lots came up, but this particular style was harder to find. not sure if that's because they are more rare, or less desirable (maybe both). listings range from $30-$80 (plus shipping) a piece. if you got a set of 4 delivered to your door for $35 i'd say that was a steal.

i've never seen a set like these on any other jeep - that's why i picked them up years ago. but i don't think i'm ever going to use them.

I've assumed it was the "less desirable" reason, but only the market will tell what they're worth is.
