    1978, deep in the malaise era. That flathead probably has more HP than stock :lol:

    Okay that's totally rad. I,we always been a flathead geek. And love the look of a c3. Know get a t case and some Danas. Then maybe 31 inch BFg km3. That would be different.

    It looks well executed.. I kinda like it for a cool factor and oddness, but in a vette? I would need way more herspwrs..

    Standard engine for that year made 185 hp & 260 ft lbs torque. Remember, this was 1978!

    That flathead stock was 100 Hp. With the tripower and good cam etc. It could be 150+ easily. Not to mention the five speed lets you use the power more. I've had quite a few miles in a c3. With 210 Hp. And it is definitely not throw you in your seat fast (a lot better than a hurricane though) but its plenty fast enough . so that setup really wouldn't be bad for street driving.
