Does anyone have any pics of how their rear seat is mounted? I am probably gonna have to fab up some brackets and was just wanting some ideas. Oh yeah, it's a fold and tumble, and I would like for it to function versus just making it fixed. Thanks

FYI the fold-and-tumble style is not original to a '75.

The seat I have is from a early 90's model YJ.

No responses. I made a drawing.

There are holes in the floor for the seat. You will find 8 holes for 4 bars. These holes had bars that would bolt across them, and the bars had a hole on the center. The seat had two brackets that would bolt to the bottom of the seat. These brackets slide under the bars on the floor and the L-shaped pin in at the rear of the bracket would snap in to the center of the bars. There was a spring in the bracket that would hold the L-shaped pin in the hole, locking the seat in place.

    hth!
