    Hi
I have a 63 cj5 that is licenced for the road and is working well.
I have had it for 5 years now with no major problems.
Recently the clutch has been engaging at a higher pedal position than it used to ...kind of oocurred over the winter storage period.
I have read a few great threads on how to adjust the clutch cable so i will give that a try soon.

Which brings me to my next question.
Are there any good repair books or service manuals available for my 63?
and where would I get one?

    thanks
    Fred

    StraightToPlaid Ludicrous speed!!!!

The PO of my jeep had a copy of the factory manual jammed in the glovebox. It's the best thing I've found.

    Thanks guys
would the FSM be specific for the CJ5 and year ? ( ie 1963 Willys CJ5 FSM) or more generic that encompasses many years and models?

Are they still in production or are is it a hard to find item.

The link in the thread below states that Faxon Auto Literature
Located in Riverside, CA has them and one can buy for around $45 US dollars It goes on to say there are two manuals that cover Jeep that share a similar title anf that , make sure you tell them you want the service manual with the Dauntless V-6 listing. It is worth twice the price, it tells you everything you want to know and then some.

Has anybody brought on efrom them?

    Thx
    Fred
