My brakes arn't working like they used to. one of my resevoirs keeps getting low but I don't see any leaking lines or wheel cylinders. I came up with a quick test to see if it was working properly. I know when you fill your MC and forget to put the cover on :rofl: , fluid squirts pretty high when you slam your brakes. So I took my cover off, filled em both and hit my brakes. Only one resevoir squirted. I assume this means the Master Cylinder is shot. right?

Oh, and I found where my brake fluid is going....drizzling down the floor board onto my feet :)

So if I stuff in a new MC, my problems will be resolved? most likley??

Or is there more that I don't know about this type of leak, such as the linkage?

Dead master cylinder, no question. Replace/repair, bleed brakes, and road test.

    :iagree:

    Time for a new MC.
Easy change (except for the bleeding), just follow the instructions. :)

Just dont forget to re-connect the spring on your brake pedal, or the brake lights will come on if your pedal droops a bit, and BAM, dead battery. It has happened to me 2 or three tiem since I did my MC.
