    89diesel Broken!!!...Again

Looking for a soft top and doors for my '73 (bought with no top). Would like a half top, but it looks like Bestop is all that's available (full top only) or are there others? Also, what's the difference between Bestop's Tigertop and Supertop?

If not mistaken, I think the tigertop is a little cheaper. I bought a couple of them a few years ago when restoring some jeeps, and was pleased with the quality of them. However my past jeeps have never been daily drivers and stay in a barn when not in use. If they were out in the weather all the time, I might not have been as pleased with the cheaper tops.

What is the difference between black and denim black? Any advantage of one over the other?

I just put a Best Top Super Top on my CJ-7. Demin black is flat black and the texture is rather ruff or grainy, much like your brand new Jeep soft tops. Black has a smooth semi gloss finish and looks like the old vinyl tops of years gone by. If you want the classic retro look go with the black.

I usually think of it as shiny vinyl or not (denim).
