Took out the fuel pump, cleaned it, replaced lines, THINK I got all the lines back right. Any help there would be great. But the real problem is....Cranks but I'm not getting spark out of the coil wire. I let the battery run down by leaving the key in the ON position overnight. Could that have burnt the condensor?

probably not. check to make sure the points are clean and opening and closing correctly. make the points fire, and the rest will probably be OK.

I've heard that leaving key on will sometimes fry the points. Pop the cap & rotor off and inspect while engine's turning over.

I can see light blue spark on the points as it turns over. Does this mean good condensor? Brother -in-law says to ask for the proper point gap. Me no know ;) This little jeep was starting fine before I started jacking with the fuel pump. But it's not getting any spark now. I cleaned the points but should I adjust them to a spec? Thanks guys!

Do you carry spare points and condensor? If not, buy new ones and replace them. If you do, swap in your spares.

i dont think leaving it on would have burned anything. i have a 1957 cj-5 with a rear pto and the fiberglass ribbed hard top. it was used to farm potatoes. dont go messing your jeep up with non original parts its too nice to do anything but restore it stock.
