Fuel line ?

    The fuel line from the tank to the engine bay on the '63 appears to be copper. The line is crimped badly just below the fuel tank. Can I replace the hard line with rubber fuel line or will this cause some sort of problem.

    Plenty of discussion of this previously if you search.

    I'd use steel line. Cheap, strong. Use brake line from your local parts store.

    x2 on the brake line.

    Also pick up a cheap line bender from Harbour Freight to bend the line. You can make just about any shapes you want/need then.

    i used brake line from my carb to fuel pump and it sprung a leak not a fun day out on the trail but it works and its cheap.. i like cheap lol:)
