power steering fc

    Hey guys new to the forum, with an fc project..... I know they shared some cj parts
    Was thinking I'd like to lose the armstrong steering and go to a power setup.
    Does anybody have an idea as to how? I thought maybe a steering box from some type of van mehh ....... Any help is appreciated

    Welcome to ECJ5 from PBB.
    Jim, how would a typical steering set up work in an FC? That's what stumped me as well.

    thought the running gear was the same as an ecj5

    Steering in an FC isnt even close to what is in a CJ.
    I dont think a saginaw box would work.
    Supposedly a power box from a toyota pickup can be modified to work but i havent seen any pics to proove it.
    I was thinking about putting power steering on mine as well but dont have room for a pump.
