I searched a bunch but came up with nothing... I've already converted my front brakes to 11". If memory serves me correctly, they were off an early Bronco front axle and bolted right up. My question is will the same backing plates bolt right up to my rear axle? If they won't, what do I need to look for? I thought there used to be a tech writeup about this but I can't find it anymore... :?

Which axle, flanged or tapered axle? Tapered axle the front backing plates are a bolt up. For a flanged axle the center hole needs opened up and the two top mounting holes need re-drilled.

Mine's a tapered 44, soon to be the recipient of a Herm full floater conversion. That shouldn't effect the install of the brakes though... Thanks for the heads up though, didn't even consider that
