Well after last weekends Rubicon carnage I have a bent tie rod to deal with. Jeep has the upgraded 78(cj5) Dana 30 with disk brakes. I would like for it to be stronger so what is the way to go? Is there a replacement that will go right in without changing the ends and be a stronger set up?
Or do I straightne the current one and strengthen it in someway?

The tie rod bent being while being dead towed into a boulder after my timing chain broke......rough trip....toe truck all the way home....

    Thank you.

I would do a tie rod flip.........which will raise it up a few inches and also go to the larger 1 ton TR ends using a 1.250 OD Dom tubing...............Parts Mike up the road on Hiway 80 in Newcastle has everything give them a call.
