D30 Spring Perch Question

    When I was checking that D30 out the other day, I noticed that the original spring-under perches were notched on the insides (the diff side of both perches). It looked like a clean cut and the guy said that it was that way from the factory. Anyone else notice that on their D30's? I can't see how it would effect anything, but I was just curious.

    On my NT D30 there was just a hole not notched

    There are notches on my waggy 30.... this is becuase, or to my under standing, becuase of the steering stabalizer mount. On mine it mounted between sprign and perch, and wa snotched for clearance, I assume they just used the nothced one son the other side as well, so they only used one mold.
