LJ Owners... I have a question

    IF you have a bikini top on your jeep could you measure the length of the top for me? I am thinknig bout getting one for the CJ to cover the front and rear passengers.

    Dan,

    You may want to look at a TJ Safari Top. The bikini only covers the front seats. I had a TJ/LJ Bikini on my CJ and it would not cover the rear passengers.

    I think a LJ Safari top would be way too long and drape down the back of the roll cage.

    Thats what i mean the safari. I have a TJ bikini top right now and with my roll bar on the CJ it is 2 inches short, kind of odd, but it was. I guess you lose a bit of length when you use the CJ windshield bracket to hold the top. But i was thinknig the LJ may be a good fit since I am going to make a bow for the back for the meantime to hold up the top, later i will make the rear cage to hold the top.

    I run a Bestop Trektop NX which is basically a Safari Top with windows that zip on. It is 68 inches from the windshield to the rear of the top. The Bestop Safari I used to have may have been an inch or two shorter than that.

    Thanks. I am going to order a bikini top this week and am debating on getting the LJ version so that i will not have to get another one later. I found the TJ will fit fine, just doesnt wrap down the side of the windshield but it really isnt a problem since i am not running doors.
