Just got off the Search Forum, so I think I have the answer to my question...but, just in case I don't here goes...The brakes in my '69 have been great since I got the Jeep 3 years ago. Everything is stock, 10"x2". Today when I stopped, the pedal depressed further, but not to the floor. I'm pretty sure the problem is the master cylinder. There no leaks anywhere. Am I on track with a MC replacement? And if so, where is a good source of a replacement. Thanks!

Yup, the MC is shot. There are two circuits in the MC, one each for the front and back brakes. One of these is leaking past the seals, allowing the pedal to sink further than normal.

First (and usually best) place to check for Jeep parts is your FLAPS or NAPA store. If you don't have a decent parts store close to you, then try KRAGE www.jeepdoc.com or one of the other online Jeep parts houses. Oh, and don't forget to bench-bleed the new MC so it will work once you get it bolted in!
