66 CJ5 TUX build ?

After looking over the project, I have come up with a vision of what I will do on this project, let me know what you think. I have access to a 70 Jeepster Commando that I was thinking of using the rear axle (Dana 44), then finding a open Knuckle Dana 30 front with disc brakes. I want to replace the orig. tranny with SM420 and use the TC out of the Commando since the rear 44 has a centered pumpkin. Can I use the gears out of my dana 18 to improve the low range ratio? I think I will check the leakdown and compression on the 225 in the Commando since it only has 39k orig. miles and use my 225 as a spare. I am going to use this jeep as a trail vehicle so I am going with a locker in the rear and a selectable in the front. With the short wheelbase, I know I need to keep my center of gravity down so I was thinking a 35 inch tire max. I just hope I can get the dauntless to run good on extreme angles. The body seems to be in decent shape, I'll see when I get it off of the chassis. I think I am going to use the 2/3 1/3 Tux bench seat. Well I have to go scavaging for parts, give me some feedback....Glad I found this site...
