t86 t14 swap

    Got my t14 in my 67 cj and drove it a little today. Smooth, smooth. happy, happy, happy. Did have to redo clutch linkage and am going to have to shorten my rear drive shaft, lengthen my front drive shaft and redo my winch drive line but I was tired of messing with the t86. Had two of them and both were bad. One wouldn't stay gear and one whines loud. Third times a charm;)

    Awesome, I am about to tackle this project early next week. Any ideas or insight into the linkage redo, was it pretty straight forward? Did you keep the D18?

    Yes, just lengthened the rod. Cut my old clutch rod in two pieces. Made a bushing and just drilled it out and welded my pieces in. Just a little long the first time, you could mash clutch in to far and yes kept the 18
