Replacement tailgate

    I need to find a tailgate for my '66 CJ5. A couple I have looked at are too rusted, so I am considering a new Omix-ADA piece. I need the one without Jeep or Willys stamping.
    Anyone out there used one of these? Is the metal thickness and shape and fit close to original?
    Are there any better alternatives, or anyone have a good one they will sell?

    I bought a replacement. The fit and finish was excellent with one big exception. The flattened rod at the bottom that is supposed to slip into the hinges did not. I had to remove a lot of metal and it was a real pain.

    I have a MD JUAN Intermediate tailgate on my '68 (came with it from PO).

    I had no fitment issues. Quality is great. I sit on it, use it as a workbench, and it hasn't dinged up at all.
