Well the other day I was going go ahead and drop my motor and tranny back in. But after I droped the trany in I went over evey thing before I droped the engine in and I found a problem. The clutch fork was binding aginst the bell housing. After further investigation I found out the new bearing retainers hole for the forks pivot ball was a quarter inch lower then my orginal. So I figured no problem 4 wd sent me the wrong one , so I called up krage and ordered anther one(I called krage because I get every thing in 2 days instead of 3 and I knoww 4wd wouldnt want to take theres back because its been on my tranny for 2 months). While when i got my order from krage it was the same wrong one. I called krage and talked to them for 10 minutes or more and john said he was going to take some measurments and see if it was made wrong. I told him to go ahead and get me a new fork out while we where tring to figure this out to see if it was a over alll design change of the ball and folk. Have any of yall guys ran into this problem ? Or did my PO make a swap and really mess up my day? heres a pic of my old one for conparison.

Well I have a update I just got off the phone with krage. He said that his matched up fine to his information he had. My fork will be in tommrow to see if the problem is on that end of the deal. I do know one thing for sure though the part I have is not identical to the one I replaced , there are 2 more differances . 1. the pivot ball is shorter on my old unit 2. there is a wide machined lip where the throw out bearing on my new one there is not one on the old one. So if the fork i ordered is the same as the one I have im up sh!ts creek. Any help or pics would help be appretiated

We're talking standard T90, standard bellhousing mated to an F-head, correct? Have you tried other places for the bearing retainer? I don't see how the old one could have been wrong and worked.

yeah A standard t-90a to a 134 f head . The first retainer came from 4wd.com the second from krage . the one from krage came in a TIC usa box with the numbers TC90a-6 on the box with omix ada number 640422 , the retainer itself has 032252 stamped on it . If you look in the picture you can see the orginal had tc90a-6 stamped on it which matches the number on the new box.The one from 4wd.com had the same casting numbers on it as the one from krage but the box wasnt marked. so far it looks like the hope i have is the new fork is made diff.
