Just too cute to spray bomb or camo the whole thing over and make it look pretty, so I need to paint over some repair panels. Anyone know what color green to use? I figure green then maybe some black splotches then a satin clear over the whole shebang.

Also, I'm going to Herculine the interior, but fear the black would get too hot...anybody ever paint over it? I was thinking gray as that will be the new seats' colors

    Thanks!!

Looks like Spruce Tip Green. I have the different color codes at home.

I have a DIY liner kit to do on mine, provided by Scorpion called "Al's Liner". You can mix color with it, or it comes in black, tan or white. IIRC they suggest putting a base coat on, the topping it with the color coat of liner, would have to read the instructions again. You can also add aggregates and metal flake if I'm not mistaken (the info is on their site)
    http://www.alsliner.com/

I bought the kit for 'in the tub' and I bought the HNR product for the under-tub coating as well.

I have the spray gun, the spray-release for the gun and the kit of goodies. Just haven't had a wind-free day to make it happen yet. I will do the 'tan' in mine first. Dunno if I want the greenish liner at the moment.

I also picked up their 95% black-out for my Meyer's top rear and rear-side windows.

You know it looks pretty good. I would give it a good hand wash including wheels and tires. There is some cool in the old look.

    Re: Al's Liner
I read that 'white' isn't a good choice for pigment on a liner. Sounds like the proper pigments to do a good non-yellowing white would run 3x or more the cost of the kit. Kit comes in black, gray, tan. To add your own pigment, you leave out their stock color and replace with yours.

I like the color too - mine was painted mid-night blue flake over a navy yellow over supposedly Spruce Tip Poly, but for the life of me, I could find it no where nor did the guy I had sand blast everything. (I have the trim tag that was affixed to the firewall above the battery where I found what it was 'supposed' to be painted).

I'll hafta look into Al's liner....thanks for the info! Black would just be too hot, especially putting around in July...I do prefer black seats just because they would match any color if I did paint this thing in the future, but there are seat covers I spose!!

If I can't make my repair panels "disappear" I could always cover them with black diamond plate, but prefer a natural and naked look lol...maybe a close color green then mud will do the trick

    Thanks for opinions!!
