    MAD fab skills...................
    You guys kill me.
I can do basic engineering, I'm great with machines and repairs, I can come up with innovative solutions, but I can't even envision some of the stuff you guys put together, let alone assemble it and make it look gorgeous.

    I hate you all:D.

Try driving a grey Camry. Every car looks like a grey Camry. I was walking towards Honda today when someone climbed out of it.

I also have a grey Saturn Ion. I was parked next to a Toyota and a Mazda both grey and you couldn't tell them apart from 50 feet.

I've owned this 1962 Cutlass for over 40 years. Both my kids learned to drive in it and I gave it to my oldest grand kid.
She has been coming up and working on it in her spare time. So far she has rebuilt the Carter AFB Comp series 600 carb, jacked it up and put it on jack stand and pulled all the wheels, checked all the brakes and replaced front pads. This is her overwhelmed look.

    Fun, fun, fun

And songs like Jerry was a race car driver to boot…

    Karen was an uber-eats driver?!?

and soooo many more… that i cant imagine anyone ever writing a song about a prius or tesla,

unless it is a spin on a country sad song about being tossed out, atm card not working, cell phone disconnected, purse dog ran away with the cat, no pelligrino, dried out beard wax, and car dead on the highway with no charging station in sight…

I revived this yamaha trike my friend brought me. It just needed alot of little tinkering the main expense was the rear tires. I scraped all the plastics down they had a layer of oxidation and mold and they came out looking pretty good. I may end up keeping it in exchange for other work. Its pretty fun and peppy. Better than i expected. Also built an english wheel so i can do the tank and fenders for my fat bike. I made the filler section on the gas tank. So the wheels were just some old cart wheels i guess and my brother lathed them down on the brake lathe at work. Top one is flat and the bottom crowned. It works

That is cool. I like the big tires. I fixed up a Honda Mini Trial 50. Got it running but the throttle sticks and the brakes are non-existent, so it's still sitting in the container.

Things I don't necessarily need but I just couldn't pass up on the deals.

I bought a running 52 Ford 8N a few weeks ago to play with. Came with a 5 foot brush cutter. Paid $425 for everything.

My buddy called and asked me if I wanted a boat for very cheap. I said why not? He even delivered it.

Guy who owns a hot rod/classic car shop in town gave me this early 283 to play with. It's early enough that it doesn't have block provisions for engine mounts and it had an oil canister instead of a spin on filter. Just need something to put it in.
